Description
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Systems Accountant to play a pivotal role in the implementation and optimisation of a new ERP system. Acting as the key link between Finance, IT, and wider business functions, you will ensure financial requirements are fully embedded, while driving efficiency, control, and continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead point of contact for Finance during the ERP system implementation
- Define and document detailed Finance system requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Represent Finance in project governance and review meetings, ensuring deliverables are clearly communicated and achieved
- Collaborate with external software providers to embed Finance needs within the ERP solution
- Review and assess existing processes and internal controls, recommending improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Design and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor financial systems and processes
- Provide post-implementation support (“hyper-care”), ensuring smooth transition and issue resolution
- Develop and deliver a roadmap for ongoing system, policy, and process improvements
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Finance, IT, and non-Finance stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epicor and industry best practices, ensuring continuous professional development
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong working knowledge of Epicor ERP systems (essential)
- Proven experience in ERP implementation, ideally within high-performance or motorsport environments
- Solid understanding of Finance principles, with a professional qualification desirable
- In-depth knowledge of financial systems, processes, and internal controls
- Ability to translate complex systems into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and risk awareness
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Collaborative team player with a flexible and proactive approach
- Results-driven with strong decision-making capability and accountability
