As our Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and promoting the voice of TGR Haas F1 Team.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will support the delivery of the team's communications strategy across media relations, content creation, race weekend communications, internal communications, and brand initiatives. Working closely with drivers, team personnel, media, and commercial partners, you will help ensure consistent, impactful, and engaging communications that enhance the team's reputation and visibility.
What You'll Be Doing
Media Relations & Communications
- Deliver impactful media engagement activities both at the track and beyond
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, broadcasters, and media outlets
- Support driver and team communications to promote a consistent and positive brand image
- Act as a visible representative of the Communications Department internally and externally
Content Creation & Brand Communications
- Create and edit content across a variety of channels, including press releases, newsletters, websites, and social media
- Support communications activities across wider team initiatives, including brand, ESG, and Esports programmes
- Help ensure consistency of messaging and tone across all communications
- Support partner and brand communications activities from planning through to media outreach
Race Weekend & Internal Communications
- Support on-site media operations, logistics, and messaging during race weekends
- Work closely with communications colleagues to deliver clear and consistent communications at events
- Assist with internal communications through newsletters, announcements, and other employee communication channels
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support communication objectives
Strategy, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Support the development and delivery of the team's communications strategy
- Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and key performance indicators to assess communication effectiveness
- Assist with industry and media monitoring activities
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that enhance communications processes and outcomes
What You'll Bring
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a communications, public relations, or similar role
- Proven experience in sports or lifestyle communications
- Strong media relations experience and established relationships across sport, news, or consumer media
- Understanding of communications strategy and brand messaging
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with content management systems, media distribution, and media monitoring platforms
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and content publishing
Desirable
- Experience within motorsport
- Crisis communications experience
- Agency management experience
- Knowledge of sports communications strategies and media landscapes
