What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Electronics Operations Manager or their designee, this role is based in Banbury, UK, and you will support departmental and organisational objectives by contributing to day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high standards of service, compliance, and performance, and working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Electronics Supply & Operations
- Ensure an effective electronics parts supply to all events.
- Work with departments and technical partners to deliver components correctly and on time to trackside electronics.
- Manage electronic parts and assemblies within the Haas component life system.
- Create and manage component service schedules and return lists from events.
- Maintain internal stock levels for components and consumables.
- Work alongside procurement and stores to deliver component lists for each event.
- Provide predicted quantities for events and mitigate risks due to parts shortages.
- Support trackside turnaround lists and prioritisation within the electronics department.
Planning & Supplier Coordination
- Work with external suppliers and technical partners to ensure timely component delivery.
- Support long-range component forecasting with the Operations Manager and design team.
- Identify shortages and work with procurement to reorder components.
- Create part numbers in the Haas ERP system with correct attributes for purchasing and finance tracking.
Continuous Improvement & Support
- Develop tools to improve electronics parts control.
- Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
- Provide trackside support as required to mitigate risk and improve processes.
- Follow and enforce safety practices in all venues.
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience in a similar role or motorsport environment (preferably Formula 1).
- Proven leadership in high-pressure, performance-driven environments.
Desirable
- Further education including Trade School, Apprenticeship or University Degree.
- Previous experience within parts and supply chain.
- Sound understanding of F1 electronic components and assemblies.
Core Competencies
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Ability to support operations, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Tools & Systems
- Solid computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience with Lifecheck software – desirable.
- Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials and facility maintenance requirements.
