We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Financial Operations team. This role will provide support to the Finance Business Partners who support our core F1 operations, initially focused on supporting the Finance Business Partner responsible for travel.
This role requires someone with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, who is comfortable dealing with a high volume of workload. This role requires a significant degree of collaboration with colleagues across the Finance department and wider team. You will play an important role as we deliver a World Class finance service to our team.
The Role:
- Responsibility for month end accruals, and related balance sheet reconciliations.
- Establish and produce appropriate analysis, insight and reporting for area of responsibility, including cost centre reporting and commentary.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting for relevant areas of responsibility.
- Liaise with partners from across the business to help ensure all finance issues are captured.
- Update and maintain processes for cost tracking and travel recharges.
- Own the process for analysing and coding of travel invoices across various cost centres and events.
- Provide analysis and insight on travel costs and other business support areas as needed.
- Support Finance projects as needed, including optimisation of internal reporting from a Financial Regulation perspective.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified
- Experience in a Finance role with understanding of journal postings, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Excellent Excel & IT skills - SAP experience preferable
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High competence and computational accuracy
