Red Bull Powertrains are looking for a ‘Hybrid Safety Supervisor’ to help deliver World Championship winning cars year on year.
Within this opportunity you will support the operation of ERS Assembly Group covering all aspects of hybrid power unit build, use and end of service at the factory. You will meet the highest standards in all areas of safety, quality, commitment and conduct.
Responsibilities of the ‘Hybrid Safety Supervisor’ position:
- You will support the development and maintenance of a Safety Culture within the ERS operation areas, promoting open conversation and idea generation for a safety-first mindset.
- You will develop and deliver staff safety inductions, training and awareness activities whilst supporting the ERS operations team in all aspects of Safety Health & Environment, supporting the team with experience & knowledge.
- Support the ERS operations team with risk assessment reviews, COSHH and work place inspections.
- Supporting the team on fault investigation, with root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Cover all aspects of the ERS assembly with focus on safety, processes and procedures
- Input into the build procedures, engineering change revisions and fault investigations in accordance with Production Control and Technical Operations instructions.
- Assist with other activities deemed appropriate by the Head of PU Operations.
- Become an integral part of the ERS operations team, promoting open discussion and support of all team members throughout the Business.
Competencies expected of this key team member:
- A Strong behavioural safety approach to work and the ability to manage your own workload, operating with limited supervision, acting with initiative.
- Vocational/academic qualifications in an engineering discipline
- Experience in high voltage DC battery systems
- Be able to demonstrate a level of technical understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and follow technical build processes and procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook to enable operation of internal business systems.
