This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions and expertise will directly influence our success on and off the track. You’ll lead a team of NDT technicians, manage daily resource planning, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and collaborate closely with engineering, design, and race teams. From inspecting carbon fibre components to supporting international race and test events, your work will be critical to our performance. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring apprentices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily resource planning and work allocation.
- Act as the first point of contact for team queries and issues.
- Ensure adherence to NDT processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Technical Engineering, Design, and Safety teams.
- Manage apprentices, placements, and work experience students.
- Travel internationally to race and test events as required.
- Maintain a showcase-standard NDT environment.
- Support performance management and development of team members.
- Generate and enforce COSHH and risk assessments.
- Promote Williams Values & Behaviours across the team.

Qualifications
- PCN Level 2 Aero (or equivalent) in:
- Ultrasound Inspection (UT) – experience with carbon fibre components
- Eddy Current Inspection (ET)
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT)
- Dye Penetrant Inspection (PT)
- Up-to-date knowledge of NDT techniques and technologies.
This is a Monday to Friday Weekday Shift Pattern 09:00 to 18:00
