Red Bull Powertrains have an exciting opportunity to join our technical office as we build on the team’s first Power Units, develop them into a race-ready package, and help deliver the most competitive car for the 2026 Formula One grid and beyond. We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to identify root causes of failures, contain and resolve faults, and continually improve the design of the Power Unit to help deliver World Championship winning cars year on year.
If successful you will lead design failure mode and effect analysis, manage critical fault investigations, and enable rigorous data-led root cause analysis by employing industry-leading engineering practices. Based on our Milton Keynes campus, you will be responsible for managing, containing, and resolving faults while working closely with other teams across Red Bull Powertrains to deliver maximum performance and flawless reliability. To be successful you must be capable of reacting to changing priorities and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Knowledge and Experience for this Role:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge and understanding of failure mode and effect analysis, root cause analysis, and their contribution to reliability of mechanical or electrical components or systems
