We’re looking for a Production Controller To manage the daily requirements of the RBAT Composite Manufacturing Group, ensuring the department’s workload is planned for the following day/night shift.
Key Accountabilities:
- To administrate and manage the daily production schedule for the RBAT Composite Manufacturing Group. Ensuring all jobs are planned, scheduled, kitted and achievable.
- Ensure all material is available to complete jobs for the given schedule and, confirm where required, through liaison with buyers/manufacturing group leaders.
- Work closely with the RBAT Composite Manufacturing Team Leader throughout shifts to understand and manage workload and deliverables, considering their resource / capacity and ensure the manufacturing business system is kept live & accurate.
- To control the administration and management of RBAT Composite Manufacturing Group workflow. Engineer job routings with authentic operational timings, relevant to drawing revision. Noting the bill of materials content, shortage and event requirement satisfaction, managing component tracking attributes and service visibility as required.
- To liaise with the Composite Manufacturing/Assembly Team Leaders & Production Controllers when department capacity is reached to reschedule/outsource tasks avoiding any delay to the composite manufacturing delivery schedule.
- Work closely with the RBAT Production & Workflow Coordinator to understand part/project delivery and assess whether on/off plan and escalate accordingly if required.
- Always maintain data integrity and content accuracy within the parts control systems and group warehouse locations.
Essential Competencies:
- Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and mechanical assembly competence including the ability to interpret technical drawings and follow assembly processes and procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience of using electronic business systems.
