We are recruiting for a Sea Freight Coordinator to join our Stock Control and Distribution team based at our Biggin Hill office

.
Main Duties & Responsibilitie

s:Coordinate and facilitate the transport and distribution of company equipment worldwide, including hazardous goods in compliance with applicable regulations and policie
s.Operate plant, including forklifts as required and when qualified to do s
o.To accurately prepare appropriate shipping documentation and declarations when require
d.Act as a point of contact for sea freight enquiries and requirement
s.Liaise with logistics partners and providers, including regulatory bodies when required, and maintaining positive relationship
s.Ensure continued compliance per the company’s Known Consignor Security Program and Security policie
s.Contribution towards and preparing reports for relating to freight & sustainabili
tyMaintain awareness of and be able to advise on the implications of applicable freight legislation, investigating shipping options to meet targets while ensuring compliance across the compa
nyContribution towards the development and updating of internal systems and processes relating to company freight and distribution, including stock control and asset trackin
g.Contribution towards logistics planning and budget preparatio
n.Monitor and report on work undertaken, regularly updating the Head of Departmen
t.Ensure all work is undertaken safely in accordance with current best practice and H&S protocol
s.Experience working with warehouse management software and stock control system
