Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).
In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will work as part of the department management team on the development and testing of key components that bring the performance of the power unit to the racetrack and contribute to the competitiveness in a highly competitive environment.
Your Mission
- Supporting the head of the Energy Recovery System (ERS) department as an interface function between various development departments and the workshop
- Support in the planning, coordination and implementation of development projects in the area of ERS (premises and target definition incl. monitoring)
- Supporting the department management in budget planning for ERS development projects
- Support with cross-departmental test and deployment planning for ERS components
- Supporting and coordinating those responsible for components and the workshop in planning the assembly of components
- Participation in the optimisation of development processes and methods
- Analysing technical data and preparing reports on project progress
- Supporting compliance with quality and safety standards
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme
- Experience in motorsport or in the development of electric drive systems in the field of project management / project coordination
- Development experience of electric drive systems for motorsport or in a similar environment
- Excellent organisational skills and team spirit
- Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
- Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies, as well as the associated high level of commitment
- Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to learn a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
