Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).
You will be involved in designing and developing the engine in the internal combustion engine development area. You will create the part(s) from the engine design up to the detailed modelling. You will be responsible for the part(s) in a complex environment. In collaboration with calculation, testing and engine design, you will ensure that the part(s) achieve(s) the maturity level required for the environment as quickly as possible. You will be involved in shaping the development process and will monitor the part(s) across multiple construction stages.
Your Mission
- CAD design of assemblies and systems as well as engine parts. CAD modeling of parts, drafting
- Planning of the creation path for the assembly / component with the involvement of Production and Procurement
- BoM management
- Preparation of engine structure lists
- Component support in engine construction and disassembly
- Interpretation of analysis results and targeted implementation in construction stages
Your Profile
- Technical studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, design technology
- In-depth knowledge in the field of engine technology and design
- Multiple years of experience in engine design in motorsport
- CAD skills: Catia
- Experience in the field of engine design and exhaust systems
- In-depth knowledge in the field of materials and production technology (prototypes)
- Excellent teamwork skills, organizational skills, and keen sense of responsibility
- Independent and precise working practices
- Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to learn a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
