Description
This is a critical role supporting the inspection and quality assurance of high-performance composite components used throughout our Formula One™ car. You will play a key part in ensuring that our parts meet exacting performance and quality standards, supporting our ambition to perform consistently as a top team in the FIA Constructors’ Championship.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting both finished and in-process composite components to tight tolerances.
- Creating and maintaining inspection programs within the Polyworks Metrology Suite.
- Performing geometric validation of jigs, patterns, moulds, and components.
- Communicating clear, concise quality assurance reports to internal manufacturing teams.
- Supporting departmental needs during peak demand periods with flexibility and professionalism.
- Working proactively, responsibly, and in compliance with the company’s reporting structure.
- Maintaining and developing skill levels in line with industry standards.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- Previous experience working within a composite manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the Polyworks Metrology Suite.
- Skilled in the use of Romer Arms and Laser Trackers.
- Ability to understand and interpret detailed technical drawings and layup tables.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a thorough and methodical approach to inspection.
- Strong understanding of engineering processes and composite materials.
- Flexible and positive attitude towards working hours and team collaboration.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A results-oriented mindset with confidence in decision-making.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and versatile, with strong working relationships across departments.
- Clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety standards.
