Description
We are looking for a skilled
Composite Inspector to join our dedicated Composite Inspection team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-performance environment where precision and attention to detail are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect both finished and in-process composite components to exacting standards.
- Create and manage inspection programs within the Polyworks Metrology Suite.
- Carry out geometric validation of jigs, patterns, moulds, and components.
- Produce clear and concise quality assurance reports for internal manufacturing teams.
- Work proactively and flexibly to meet the demands of busy periods.
- Maintain professional standards at all times and adhere to the company’s reporting structures.
- Develop and maintain skill levels in line with current industry standards.
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested, aligned to your role.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience within a composite manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Polyworks Metrology Suite.
- Experience using Romer Arms and Laser Trackers.
- Confident in interpreting detailed technical drawings and layup tables.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Methodical and thorough approach with strong understanding of engineering processes.
- Flexible attitude toward working hours, especially during peak periods.
- Calm, confident, and results-driven under pressure.
- Effective and respectful communicator with a positive team approach.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving.
